HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

We are beginning to think about MCAS tests in the Computer Lab, even though they are several months away. As always, all grades continue to practice their typing skills, which will help them on their exams. We are also working on some of the vocabulary that kids will see on the MCAS and other tests throughout the year, just to familiarize them with it. It’s also a great way for them to practice their typing. It’s a Win-Win!

Kids in 5th through 8th grades have been working on coding activities. They’ve enjoyed Grinch Coding and Coding with Anna and Elsa, which also works on their math skills.

7th and 8th grade Enrichment classes have been building robots and doing some 3D drawing and printing. Below are some of their designs.

Kids in Kindergarten through Fourth Grade have been learning PowerPoint by making Elves or Snowmen. They’ve learned so many great skills, from dragging and dropping to resizing images to turning images around and inside out to saving files. They’ve done such great work. And their projects are so cute!!
