Dear Caregivers and future first-grade experts,
Welcome to first grade! I am so excited to be your first-grade teacher this year! We will do so many fun things and learn a whole bunch. I am excited for a wonderful year building our classroom community together!
The first day of school is just around the corner and I can’t wait to meet each one of you. In our class, we’ll explore new ideas, make new friends, and create lasting memories. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead filled with discovery and joy!

Supply List
Please note that supplies in our classroom will be shared by all in our classroom community. Students will be provided with their own pencil case to practice ownership and care of materials, but will always have access to the communal supplies when needed. If your student has something special that cannot be shared it should be kept safe at home :)
- 1 box of 24 crayons
- 1 pack of 12 colored pencils
- 1 box 10-12 broad-line markers
- 4 glue sticks
- 1 pair of child’s scissors
- A change of clothes to keep in their cubby at school
- A sturdy, standard-sized backpack that will fit a folder, lunchbox, etc.
- Headphones for iPad
- 1 water bottle that will be brought back and forth to school each day
*Each student will be provided with a classroom-issued pencil case.
We’d also suggest having an extra set of school supplies at home if possible.
